Isle of Palms Complete Home Transformation

On Isle of Palms, we recently wrapped up a full exterior home transformation that completely changed the look, feel, and performance of the property. The goal was simple clean up the exterior, modernize the coastal style, and build everything to handle salt air, humidity, and storms. We started with a brand-new outdoor living space using Armadillo composite decking, rebuilding the deck surface with tight framing, proper pitch for drainage, and hidden fastening so the finish came out clean and solid. The new composite deck gives the homeowners a low-maintenance outdoor space that holds up well in a true coastal environment while still looking sharp and finished.

From there, we moved into a full siding replacement using Everlast composite board and batten siding, giving the home a fresh coastal exterior with strong lines and a modern vertical profile. We removed old exterior material, corrected problem areas behind the walls, and installed the new siding with careful attention to alignment, trim work, and moisture protection. Every corner, window wrap, and transition was detailed to keep the home sealed and clean. To finish off the outdoor structure, we installed a ViewRail aluminum cable railing system around the deck, giving the homeowners an open view with a strong, modern railing system that fits the coastal aesthetic. We also installed a new front entry door for better curb appeal, security, and weather protection, along with new Simonton vinyl windows that were properly set, leveled, and sealed to improve energy efficiency and reduce air intrusion. The end result is a complete Isle of Palms exterior renovation new decking, new siding, new railing, new windows, and doors all tied together into one clean, durable, coastal-ready home exterior that feels brand new.
