Charleston has always held a special place in our hearts. Before our twins were born, my wife Jodie and I would escape to the Lowcountry every chance we could, trading the hustle of life up north for the charm of coastal South Carolina. (I’m originally from Cherry Hill, NJ, and Jodie is from Towson, MD.) When the pandemic hit, we decided to fulfill the “live where you vacation” dream and made the move in October 2020. We absolutely love everything about life here and have never looked back. Today, we call Summerville home, where we live with our twins Sophia and Annabel, our cat Luna, and our dog Roxy.

 

Before entering the construction industry, I spent eight years in the production department of my family’s marketing agency, providing services to major corporations such as Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, and Sanofi. Prior to that, I worked in special education as an assistant teacher by day and pursued music by night, performing in a successful touring band throughout my 20s and early 30s. Creativity has always been a driving force in my life, and that mindset continues to serve me well in finding innovative solutions to the challenges we encounter in construction.

 

What drew me to Transform Charleston was their unwavering, day-by-day commitment to craftsmanship and customer care, grounded in the core values of Stewardship, Gratitude, Service, and Self-Development. Their attention to detail aligns perfectly with my own approach to every step of the production process. It’s clear there is something bigger happening here - something that is reshaping the way our industry serves people - and I knew I wanted to be part of it.
